How about posting all the pictures of the atrocities that took place for 30+ years under Saddam Hussein. I'd love to see what snide remarks you'd enter into the captions on those 30 odd years of photographs.
Understand that sometimes war is a necessary evil and the future of the Iraqi's is going to be 10000 times better than if Saddam had controlled Iraq for another 25 or so years and then given his country to one of his psychotic and demented sons to rule for another 40-50 years. You should be proud the US put its foot down and is stopping Saddam's madness once and for all.
Liberals never cease to amaze me. Next... I'm sure you'll be defending the North Koreans until you are blue in the face, or until a nuclear missile sails over your city and blows up your family and friends.
It is sad and regretable for the loss of civilian life but you know aswell as anyone that the USA deliberately attempts to avoid civilian casualties. Tell me of any other nation on the earth that would go through such pains to minimize deaths of non combatants.
The people of Iraq are still scared that the old Baathists will return to power and are reluctant to truely demonstrated their appreciation for what we have done for them. Once the Baathist loyalists that are lobbing grenades into Iraqi civilians are captured or killed and a sense of stability is restored, the Iraqi people will get a taste of true freedom and will rejoice.

After watching Mr. Fisk on C-SPAN today, I believe he is erudite, articulate, insightful -- and very much an apologist for Islamic fundamentalism and the cruel, inhuman despots throughout the Middle East. Or, more optimistically, perhaps Mr. Fisk is just hopelessly confused. Despicably and inexplicably, Mr. Fisk constantly asked callers to think about the "root cause" of the Arabs' hatred -- the "unconditional" support of Israel by the United States. Mr. Fisk obviously believes that the U.S. should be evenhanded in dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict after Israel made a generous offer of peace and statehood to the Palestinians that was met with a brutal campaign of murderous terror by the PA against Jewish WOMEN and CHILDREN. A campaign that introduced the world to the phenomenon of homicide bombings, a tactic that Mr. Fisk seems to think is no better of worse than the accidental shooting of rioting teenagers in Jenin or Hebron by Israeli soldiers. In Mr. Fisk's imaginary world of moral relativism, all violence is bad and there are no aggressors or victims. Perhaps if the U.S. were to engage in this misguided moral relativism, then the world would be a much better and safer place? Who knows, maybe the U.S. should have utilized that moral relativism in W.W.II, when Great Britain and the rest of Europe had to be rescued from Nazi tyranny, er, I mean, Nazi "enthusiasm." Yes, that's the correct term, right? If Mr. Fisk truly believes that all violence is equal and there aren't aggressors and victims, then he is truly ignorant of and/or oblivious to the lessons of history and to the eternal truths that transcend intellectual debate, sycophantism and the scourge of the 21st century: moral relativism. I just heard your interview on c-span. It seems that we NEED to understand Bin laden's "motivations"! And Hitler's as well! At the end of the day, I'm sure the Jews were at fault for the holocaust! The U.S. sat by "profitably during the start of world war 2"....(apparently the U.S. wasn't politically divided regarding isolationism, we were counting our money) and now the U.S. is acting only for oil profits!
